The ROCS lab, in collaboration with Dr. Eric Welch (C-STEPS, ASU) is leading the external evaluation of the NSF-funded project: Cascadia Coastlines and Peoples Hazards Research Hub (Cascadia CoPes hub). The Cascadia CoPes hub is a major 5 year $20M project that will inform and enable integrated hazard assessment, mitigation, and adaptation—including comprehensive planning, policy making, and engineering—through targeted scientific advances and modeling co-produced in sustained collaboration with coastal communities in the Pacific Northwest. The ROCS/C-STEPS team will design and conduct the external evaluation of the Cascadia CoPes hub. The multi-methodological evaluation will provide both formative input and summative assessment of project activities and developments.
